Does anyone else think the humor in Nolan's Batman movies is underrated?

The part where he's pressing the detonator and nothing's happening is hilarious. I read somewhere that Ledger improvised that because the explosion didn't happen on time.

This, and his flat 'Yeah' to Michael Jai White when he asks Joker if he thinks he can just steal from the mob are my two favorite Ledger deliveries in the film. So funny.

The "I'm gonna tell them the whole damn thing was your idea" made me laugh good.

Also, Fox's "Didn't you get the memo?" from Batman Begins.

Joker's "Yeah" to Jai White also still gets a chuckle outta me because it's not usually something I remember and catches me off guard when I watch it again.

And lets not forget: "Does it come in black?"

The humor of the Nolan films is really very dry and understated, kind of as a way of driving the point home of how seriously deranged Bruce is to be like "peace, y'all. I'm going to go rescue hostages from the crossfire of Joker and the cops without any weapons. Back in a bit!"

Joker in nurse outfit was hilarious. Nolan goes for the subtle and cuts dry, which I appreciate.

Selina in the trailer asking Bruce:"And who are you pretending to be?" left me giggling for a minute.

Funny? No, that was just weirdly hot. I would go gay for Heath Ledger, any costume. Even Bat-nipples.

I wonder how Bruce would have to scare him into leaving him alone had he tried to do it anyway
