Giant mechs vs kaiju. It's about time. I always thought we needed a Red Ronin movie.

Legendary also has a Godzilla movie in production. Apparently the Legendary Pictures head honcho is a big kaiju fan... I approve.

A Guillermo Del Toro kaiju movie could be very cool. Might actually keep to the guy in a suit style of giant monster movies, and look good.

How long to wait till we can get a pic of the monster?
A lot of people get sentience confused for sapience. Your hamster is sentient, you are sapient. Intelligence is sapience.

The plot reminds me a bit of Neon Genesis Evangelion. This sounds pretty good so far!

    This probably won't suck.

I hope we get a movie trailer sooner rather than later. I've noticed that news cover of Del Toro's Pacific Rim is rather sparse.

Excited for this film. Giant mechs fighting Kaiju... with Del Toro visuals. Take my money now!

Pretty much. At least with Del Toro attached it has the potential to be better than that live-action Akira Hollywood keeps talking about. Hopefully we get a trailer at SDCC.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

I wouldn't call it a live action anime. Sure it might borrow some aspects but I think its more Del Toro's love of Kaiju films that inspired it.

I'm a kaiju nut, too, but you guys haven't even noticed Rinko. I'd love to yummy down on that Kikuchi.
