Sabretooth was JUST in an issue of Wolverine and the X-Men....
Yeah but this is going to explain HOW he came back to life.
Dead Cloak and Dagger.
While I abhorred Evolution when it first came out, I've come to like it pretty well in retrospect. I was mainly afraid how that whole Lupine thing would affect the characters, but since that's pretty much been swept under the table, it's not so bad. And Bianchi's art is perfectly suited for Wolverine and Sabretooth.
So yeah, I'm looking forward to this. Despite all the hate Loeb gets, I quite enjoy his work: it's not life-changing, but it's not crap, either.
I'm a little torn on this one. On the one hand, I'm not a fan of most of Loeb's recent comic book work (despise what he did to the Ultimate Universe, for example) and absolutely hated Wolverine: Evolution and everything that it introduced into the character's backstory. Having said that, Bianchi's art has never looked better, I'm dying for a (hopefully decent) explanation of how Creed came back, and I rather enjoyed X-Sanction. So I'll be giving this a shot.
Because it is about X-characters. Last time he killed a fan favourite and created an amazingly bad backstory for Wolverine and Sabretooth. It is no wonder if x-fans look at him with mistrust as deep as the one between girl and monkey.
(Yes I was sort of waiting a chance to post that. It is hilarious!)
Cloak better be alright. No way he should die to bring this tired old guy back. Dagger will take him down for hurting Cloak.
