Well it's nice to get the creative teams for these books.

That said it is VERY disappointing that they didn't get Renae De Liz for Amethyst seeing how much she wanted to work on an Amethyst book.

I'm also surprised that they'd move March from Catwoman.

I also would have preferred if Travel Foreman would have moved onto Team Seven and Jesus Saiz stayed on Birds of Prey.

Did a google search of Amethyst to see who she was and apparently she is a violet jewel. She is a Star Sapphire. I'm guessing Deathstroke and Grifter are going to disappear and be absorbed into Team Seven. USA Today has a picture of Talon and he looks special.

That Flash art was dreadful. Not a fan of these cover designs. I always liked Amethyst, I hope they don't mess her up but I expect them to.

Is it bad that I'm cautiously interested in all 4 of these? Man I really hope they cancel something I'm reading to make way...otherwise some middling books are done for.

Winick's said he doesn't really like doing long runs on books so maybe there's going to be en entirely new creative team on Catwoman?

I don't see why it would be a bad thing. Given that the announcement just happened, being cautious until we get more info is probably the smart way to go.

I have mixed feelings about cancellations. On the one hand, my bank account would love if some my current series were cancelled to make room for these new ones. On the other hand, I like what I'm reading now and don't want to lose them.

Personally, I'll probably just get Talon and Sword and Sorcery. Phantom Stranger is a maybe, leaning more towards no. Team 7 is a big pass for me.

read the article. He was a recent recruit who escaped, thus was never put to "rest" or in service. He's not a full fledged Talon.

I'm willing to bet Team 7 will be an 'origin' title. When they did Team 7 during Jim Lee's image days, it was an origin book to explain the history that characters like Deathblow, Grifter and a few others had with each other.
