Not to my knowledge, I seem to recall her and COnner going out for burgers one time

Ah. Well, I don't have a problem with it, I was just curious. I don't know many vegan or vegetarian superheroes, now I think about it (well, besides Buddy Baker, Damian Wayne, Beast Boy, and I heard Superman became a vegetarian, but I dunno if that changed).

Where was Superman made a vegetarian? It sounds familiar, but I'm having trouble placing it. And he'll always be a steak and potatoes mid-westerner to me. Makes that "Beef Bourguignon" gag with lois work better.

But yeah, this issue definitely worked well. It's the first time I've really like Cass since the original Young Justice ended. She was okay under Geoff Johns, but nobody seemed to write her as good as Peter David. Seeing Kon back to some of his roots as a hormonal teenager was good, but at some point he needs to meet Superman and start trying to live up to the S-shield. That issue where he took on the meta-couple becuase they were psychotic is still probably my favorite one because he did something straight out heroic.

Nice and fun. Not mind-blowingly spectacular or anything but a fun little story. And it was a huge refresher after the wordy and annoyingly cloak-and-dagger Culling. My favorite part was Kon chowing down on the food after realizing it tasted good.

Am I the only one tired of this book being a Teen Titans backup story?

    Far from it.

This was actually a fun issue! He's away from NOWHERE, feeling new experiences like taste (love that part) and affection, and we get to see that he's a bit of a perv too. This is the first time since the reboot that I actually felt something towards the character. What was also awesome was the art. Fiumara does an excellent job conveying emotions and capturing little moments like sitting by a fire. The characters actually felt alive; 3 dimensional. It's a shame that this didn't happen sooner and that Fiumara was the regular artist.

Nope. While I liked this issue, I get this criticism. Its why the #0 solicit at face value has me disappointed. One-off tales (I know this island thing will essentially carry over into TT, but considering it was mostly a characterization issue it stands well enough on its own) featuring a guest star I don't mind at all though. With the caveat that I do wish they don't forget to do this same thing with the actual Superman family at some point. Kal, Kara, and Kon deserve this kind of relationship building as well.

You're not alone, but I have to admit this issue was pretty good.

Yeah I liked it too, but I have to wonder how much longer this Superboy/Teen Titans thing will last. It seems that DC is trying to make it so you have to read 2 comics regularly to get all of one story.

Super fun issue!!!! It actually reminds me of red hood#6. It seems that scott lodbell is pretty good at this kind of little story. For me, it's actually a boost to my confidence for him taking over superman, since I always thought there should be a writer who truly knows how to handle emotional side of superman. Although, if his superman is too teenage-ish...
