the next three issues dont seem to have any connections to the TT book,which im very happy about.as a superboy fan i am a lil ticked that he is being treated like this,i mean this book is a good book,i wish it had a chance to shine without crossovers with the TT,or other characters( fairchild and rose) having to make him share his spotlight.i hope his life in NYC is "his" own unique life,with all new characters,or atleast ones that will allow kon to be the star,like he should be.

Its not the same thing duh.bunker is a guest star,this issue had a story that will be finished in the teen titans book.bunker is goimg to hangout with kon,and its happening in SBs world,and happpening only in his book.

Lobdell is simply one of my favorite writers of the DCU. This was such a great fun issue. Can't wait to see how he does Superman but really will miss him on Superboy.

Its not the same thing duh.bunker is a guest star,this issue had a story that will be finished in the teen titans book.bunker is goimg to hangout with kon,and its happening in SBs world,and happpening only in his book.

He's still going to be there as a supporting cast (for that issue) This means that instead of gaining new supporting as we go into this new time in his life we leave it to someone from TT. I'm well aware that the story will not finish in TT. That wasn't my point. For that issue it seems like we will still be depending on a TT for supporting cast in a book that is not theirs. That is my point.

I don't know if this will go on (I don't think it will) but it is there in this coming issue and I pointed it out.

Yes it was a very good issue. Hope he brings this flavor to the vanilla Superman book....lord knows it needs it. I wish him all the best and expect the best.

I'm sad to see Lobdell go from this title. I'm worried for where that means the book will now be headed...

Yeah most of us are. I'm worried even less people will be interested in the title if the quality level drops significantly.

So glad we're moving past The Culling plot line, still waiting for the story line to peak for this book but I did enjoy this issue a lot. Cassie and Kon have always been one of my favorite pairings. Still don't like their weird black costumes though.

Well the solicits have him in new york meeting new ppl,good or bad,so its totally differemt than the what we have already had,and yeah i cant wait.

Btw instead of worrying about the future issues,focus on enjoyijg the one in front of you,i mean this thread was about issue 10,but half or more of the posts were about being scared or displeased with what his not even here yet,come on.

Howabout we dont freak out until we have a real reason to freak out yet,and no i dont a different ame on the creative teams list is enough to go crazy,atleast until its in front of you.

Yeah the next issue is gonna be crammed full of good stuff,life decsions,world buiding,fighting big bads,and tattoos,i cant wait.

I like DEFALCO's style. #9 was my favorite.

I really enjoyed that ish, but most of that was due to the great artwork and lush coloring. Still, the writing side was okay too.

#8, on the other hand, now that one sucked IMO (again, the artwork had a large say in it...). So I'm reserving judgment until we've seen what DeFalco does with Kon.

i loved his thunderstike,and his superman unlimted one shot was good to.i think he will do fine when he can focus just on kon.
