I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."
Basically, if you miss the wonder of a dog flying around in a little Superman cape, you're in the wrong hobby.

I know this is kinda off topic, but everytime I see the title of this thread I think of Bob Ross: The Joy Of Painting. I spent almost every morning, one glorious summer back in the late '90s, at my best friend's house watching back to back episodes of The Joy Of Painting in a big comfy armchair and drinking far too much fresh coffee. I still like to catch the odd episode on YouTube from time to time.
Watching Bob Ross paint is still the most relaxing experience it's possible to have without actually falling asleep.

never heard of Bob Ross, although i agree it is amazingly relaxing. what about good ol' Rolf Harris. "Have you guessed what it is yet?" He is probably the most famous TV cartoonist/artist/musician in UK.
not the best video, as this guy is usually outstanding! he plays a wobble board and does weird things with his mouth.

I heart Bob Ross and watch him whenever I see one of his shows playing. I was very sad when he passed a few years back.

I also thought of Bob Ross when starting this thread. Seems like there were other how to draw and paint shows. I also have a vague memory of a short-lived game show from about 1963 where someone started to draw something on a pad on an easel and celebrity guests tried to be the first to indentify it.
They're scientists, Allan. They know what they're doing.
There was this guy:

Oh yeah, Rolf Harris is an absolute f***ing legend! He is quite literally, one of the greatest men who ever lived.
You know, I met him once and I got him to autograph my 7" single of his excellent/ridiculous cover of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven". What's more, I asked him to draw me a little Rolfaroo next to his signature...and he did!
For our American friends across the water, a "Rolfaroo" is a little, half man/half kangaroo self-portrait that Rolf sometimes draws (see below for an example). Rolfaroos are among the most highly prized objects in British society far exceeding even gold in value.

I used to watch Jon Gnagy's "Learn to Draw" show. Tried to follow along a bit, but it never worked as well as it did for him.
