I think the little man and Clarks landlady are playing a game of cosmic chess with Superman's life.

More interested in protecting and helping, whether its within the regulations of the law or not.

I wonder if those golden hamsters have something to do with Susie becoming an apparent villain at some point. Possession of some sort? I can't believe I'm actually suggesting hamsters as a catalyst for a storyline with a straight face, lol. And who was the hodded guy headed to Metropolis? Is that supposed to be the "first Superman" that was also set up in the issue?
I think so. He also appears in action comics #12's cover.

Seriously? I thought I detected every detail in AC already! Man, Grant is seriously using his brain!

    Accurate answer bro!

He has to be rich. He has an army! (we have a krypto!)

Let me join the chorus that says best issue of Action yet! I was ready to drop this title at 9, and on a whim decided to give it one last chance at the store, boy im glad I did. Like other posters have said, wish Morrison would give another go to the Justice League. Also Rags art was solid, in my opinion the best of this run.

Hem.....do I sound pretentious if I say I didn't have any problem remembering who the guy was?

Loving Grant's run on Action Comics more and more with each issue. Particularly, loving how he is developing the cast dynamic.

The JL was just so full of win.

Really enjoyed this issue, and I'm excited to see what happens next! Action Comics is definitely a highlight of the reboot.

But when he's facing intergalactic threats, the suit's durability comes in handy, and likewise symbolizes his family, his heritage. Forever he's poised between two worlds, and now he's got THREE of them - Clark, Street Superman, and Cosmic Superman.

    Awesome stuff.

A lot of fun, very touching. I thought the backup was very nice as well. Nothing about it blew me out of the water, certainly a downgrade from last issue's brilliance, but I enjoyed the hell out of it.
Absolutely, the T-Shirt & Jeans keeps him as the Springsteen-influenced 'Man Of The People', although I suspect this 'Death Of Clark Kent' thing will ultimately result in Kal-El's (does he know that's his true name yet? I can't remember! Anyway...) acceptance that there has to be a clear definition between Superman the Saviour and his Secret Identity. I wish people would stop 'Ragging'(couldn't resist that one!) on the art for this book, there are sketchy moments, sure, but Morales' style is perfectly suited to the story being told here. Just like it was perfect for 'Identity Crisis' & 'First Wave', as there is a kind of 'Wally Wood Reloaded' quality that I personally think is fantastic!
