To me, it looks like Cyclops is wearing a thong on the outside of his Phoenix clothing/armor. Am I the only one?

this made me spit my milk
Anyway, I have been enjoying this "event" to my surprise...The Phoenix Five...meh, but the rest has been great.
I am surprised we haven't seen more of Wanda, I thought I remember Axel billing this as SW vs. Phoenix sort of deal.
Does anyone know if Marvel has any plans on bringing Jean back, or is this an attempt to divorce her from the bird once-and-for-all? I mean, I assume she will eventually be back, but is this beginning of that arc?

Haha, right! I've been wanting an x-book that I actually enjoy. When Cable ended and my interest in deadpool, gen hope, and xforce went away Xsanction gave me hope for a return to the x, but then by its end Cable was in a coma. So AvX is a Cable fans last chance to have the story of Hope finally wrap up so Cable can move on to new things. Cause honestly "the lights" were very dissapointing to me.
Well, based on all the comments from the editors about how "excited" they are about Cable showing up in this event and him "playing a large role in the Marvel Universe going forward", I'm fairly optimistic that they won't troll us Cable fans by just giving us a shot of him lying there in a coma. Now, having said that, it would be a heavy duty trolling of the highest magnitude to have him show up in this event and then die (again) by the end of it, and his death being the significant role he plays in moving the Marvel U forward...but they've done that so many times in crossovers and events that I cannot imagine them going back to that well again...
...then again, this is Marvel we're talking about here, and doing something creative and new with their non A-list characters tends to be really hard for them sometimes. Hell, just focusing on the non A-list seems to be difficult, much less doing something cool with them. We'll see. I'm cautiously optimistic at this stage about Cable's future and his role in AvX.
could Cable possibly lead a team of X-Men?
I only ask, because for the past few years (and this comes from someone strictly observing X-Men peripherally)...I felt they were building Scott into a mutant menace, a'la Magneto.
As things continually go wrong for him, he becomes more militant, which (seems to) comes to a head in schism, leading into and including AvX...Granted, they can tease his eventual break for years and years to come, but am I the only one who sees it coming?
Since 'the events of Genesis, with Scott finding everything he's learned was a lie, he's seemed to become more of an antagonist in all of these crossovers. Plus, Magneto is currently "a good guy", so...
anyway, techno-free cable running a team might be interesting.
I would think (hope? no pun intended!) that at this point, Nathan's all killed out in their eyes. I really think this "large role" is going to be with the X-Men - he fits in far too well with the Blue Side's mindset of late. Heck, Scott's basically turning into his son...

Oh, we'll definitely see him in Act II. C.B. Cebulski confirmed that at Kapow Con.
The house of recycled ideas! Say Cyclops makes the big sacrifice in the conclusion and Cable steps in and takes his place to honor his father....oh wait, that happened in Apocalypse the Twelve. But him being on Xforce, or the xmen would be a nice change as long as he gets a better role then in Supernova's.
While he didn't play a huge role in the Supernovas arc, the rest of that run saw Cable in a pretty sizeable role on Rogue's team of X-men. Especially the Condition Critical arc.
