Savage Dragon, by far. It has never had a bad period. It is something special.
One creator over twenty years--that's something you see with comic strips, not comic books.

    Walking Dead
    Fatale
    Infinite Horizon
    New World Order

Have all been ones I've enjoyed over the last 5-10 years.

So I don't think not liking Savage Dragon would mean that you won't like Invincible.
Huh. I always thought Spider-Man was the influence behind Invincible.

Then there would barely be any character development. BUT, I always describe 'Invincible' as 'Spider-Man' mixed with 'Superman'. The difference being that like in 'Savage Dragon', characters age, die, have a lot of personal development, and there is a long running plot.

Savage Dragon is the only Image book I buy.You can feel the love he has for his book even as it's reaching #200.

I think that's the big similarity. Also Kirkman also uses some storytelling tricks utilized in Savage Dragon.

I just picked up Saga #1 the other day and thought it was pretty good. Different, but good. I am actually wanting to pick up more Image books. I tried to get Manhattan Projects, buy my local shop was out of all issues.

Invincible is definitly influenced by Spider-Man... Kirkman named his son Peter Parker Kirkman.

Even though it's an Icon book now, I have to say Casanova was my favorite Image book. That shit is just perfect.
