ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT!
We head into the studio later this month to begin work on our fourth album, to be entitled Apocryphon. It will be produced/engineered by J. Robbins and feature cover art by J.H. Williams III! Release is slated for early this fall with a worldwide tour starting in October.

I started listening to The Sword about a year ago, and I love them. I was/am a big fan of Wolfmother, and in reviews, they're always compared to The Sword. I guess due to the album artwork or something, because I don't see a ton of similarities between the two, but I'm now a big Sword fan. I really like the unpolished sound of the recordings, like something my band would make. My fave is "Tres Brujas" but they have a ton of great stuff. can't wait for the new album!
