I wonder if it started as an Assassin's Creed game, modern day Assassin's Creed was a intriguing idea that never got explored, at least in the three games I played. I kind of figured that by game five we would have been in more of a modern setting in Assassin's Creed.

I don't know. Is like, what's there to do in the modern world? And I wonder if AC 4 will take place in WW2. I'm just wondering.

Watchdogs requires careful..well..watching. I've been fooled by impressive introductions before.

When you have to spend a very long time reloading a slow weapon and you get rushed because you can't shoot back, the reload time isn't relevant? People taking advantage of the slow rate of fire from mortars isn't relevant? Jamming your gun in a firefight and increasing your reload time isn't relevant?

And Vanquish? I'm just going to assume that you've never actually played Vanquish, because if you think all you do is sit behind cover with a pistol, then I don't know what to tell you
I'd never even bloody heard of Vanquish before this thread. I was going to mention that but deleted it and wrote "I'm not going to go into this too much" instead. And you say you can't sit behind cover with a pistol? Well good, that's a step in the right direction ... but what do you want, a round of applause? It doesn't take away from the fifty others that do let you do that.

Yes, like Gears and Rainbow Six (both of which I have played), Uncharted, GTA4, Max Payne 3, all three Mass Effects, L.A. Noire, Mafia II and, if E3 this year is to be believed, Watch Dogs, Star Wars 1313, Spec Ops: The Line, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, The Last Of Us and even Resident Evil 6 are all going to copy the same crappy mechanic.

Yes. With the exception of the Hammer Of Dawn, all the weapons in Gears Of War were either regular, everyday weapons or slightly sci-fi versions. In the first game at least. I didn't continue playing the series after that. I couldn't be won over by a really bad cover system and, not being an eleven-year-old boy, I don't think guys in power armour who swear all the time makes you "badass".

So no mention so far of what this game really is....... Person of Interest the Game!! :p I cant wait for Watch Dogs. I was intrigued once I realised the similarities between this and PoI but then I continued watching and it looks really good. One to watch. Ubisoft were definitely top at this e3.

I kind of liked "people dressed fancy at an art gallery, all conversations overheard but nobody is saying 'who is the guy in the filthy coat and ball cap? who let in the homeless person!"

Watch Dogs connects to everything in its world and the real world/

Should gamers expect plenty of people being nasty if they play this online?
