Default Multiplayer - my indie comic about video games

Hey everyone, I'm a new independent comics creator and the first issue of my series "Multiplayer" is now available over at Graphicly.com, the iBookstore, the Kindle Fire and the Kobo eReader.

The idea for the series is essentially "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" or "Planetary" for video game fans. It's a story where every video game character ever (or analogs of them) live in the same world and a handful of them have to team-up to save their world. It's an adventure book full of references and in-jokes that any gamer would pick up on so I hope if you're a fan of both games and comics like myself, you'll try out my comic. Don't worry if you're not the biggest gamer though, the major "players" are all allusions to very well known game characters like Lara Croft, Link, Zelda, Ryu from Street Fighter and much more to come.

It's $1.99 for 28 full color pages and there's a 15 page preview on Graphicly. I know it's not the most professional thing ever, but it's my first attempt at a comic and I'm hoping to get better by issue 2.

    Thanks!

    Only $0.99 now.

I'm still figuring out the best price point for this thing and I hope you guys check it out.

    Thanks! :)

Through Graphicly.com. You upload the book to them and they upload it to iBookstore, Kindle, etc. for a flat fee of $150. It's certainly cheaper than having the book printed. The processing time was maybe 2 weeks, if that.

They don't publicize it at all, they just make it available on the various platforms. Get it in front of the ever-growing digital audience as it were.

I checked out your comic in your signature and I think you should totally check out Graphicly's service. They host the comic on their website (and Facebook) for free and the $150 is just for the other digital bookstores. I suggest uploading your book to Graphicly and later see if you want to have it uploaded to the iBookstore, Kindle etc.

As for downloads? Not much, that's why I'm here advertising the book to see if people are interested.

yo how did you edit your comic preview on graphicly? Right now my page has the whole comic free on preview and i cant find out where to make only a few pages availavle, the whole comic being free is naturally bad for sales!

E-mail Graphicly directly for trouble shooting but only you are seeing the full comic because you're logged in. Don't worry, no one else can see passed the first 3 pages. Try logging out and see for yourself.
