Raizo had crazy hand-to-hand skills and could withstand a lot of pain. While Widow was an ass-kicked of the utmost calibre, I think Raizo takes this.

The training he had, the opponents he fought, the pain he can withstand.

Good fight, I give it to raizo cause his speedblitzing feats at the end of the movie vs daddy. that was the only time he speed blitzed. if we take away that feat and use the rest that he showed in the movie that was still pretty damn impressive then it would be a more evenly match.

Yeah. Without PIS, Raizo would have died.

I can't say the same if Raizo was in perfect health, but it would be pretty shitty if an uninjured Raizo would lose to Lord Ozunu with bullets in his chest.

look back at Old timer's Scenes where he does the Ninja Vanish. Took him afew secs to do it. and guessing it only lasts so long or he would have stayed invisible the entire fight. but after he appeared at the end and Raizo started blitzing him, maybe old timer couldnt Vanish in time.

No, Lord Ozunu's ninja teleportation was practically instant (such that Raizo couldn't intercept him while he was moving back into the shadows).

And for some reason, he suddenly paused for a good deal longer than usual after Raizo disappeared.

Game reason: But what about the fact that he only gets X number of uses before he has to put it on cd?

Plot reason: The physical strain of shadow running drains someone faster than other abilities. So you use it as an opener to get a quick win because you can't use it anymore after that.

Nepotistic reason: He realized that Riazo was skilled enough to become a true heir. After testing that and finding that Raizo withstood the ambush he decided that he would fight his "son" as equals.

Silly reason: He realized that by having the key maker killed off in the first scene that eventually the Matrix would come after him. So he suicided by ninja.

And the nepotistic reason wouldn't work because Raizo just destroyed the clan with his betrayal and has never shown any interest in starting his own clan.

I could justify the ending in dozens of ways... But the thing is, I should not have to.
The ending is the epitome of PIS and I loathe it.

Otherwise, I liked the movie a lot. :D
