Default Kathleen Kennedy becomes co-chair of Lucasfilm

Very interesting, she's done a lot of projects with Steven Spielberg. I wonder if this means the Star Wars TV show will finally start to show some progress, or even if we'll get more films down the line (Maybe not new entries in the saga but side stories like the Boba Fett project Joe Johnston is pitching). George is nearing his 70s and seems quite tired of the movie business at this point after the Star Wars prequel backlash, as the press around RED TAILS seemed to indicate.

He seemed tired of the movie business before he was really in it.

LucasFilm has been stockpiling scripts for the TV series for years now. The delay is in having special effects become cheap enough that a Star Wars series become economically viable.

Default TV/Film KK Co Chair Lucas Film

What a career dead end for her.Like anyone could jumpstart these properties much less wash the stink off of all their production being done in Australia.
