Solar winds go ALOT further than you clearly think they do. Earth constantly gets engulfed by them.

I think moving the mass of a few X-Men to the moon, is much more efficient then altering the course of the moon towards the earth, causing untold climactic upheavals and immediate devastation of the biosphere.

That said, the moon is nothing but a cosmic dirty hailstone, so why not? ;)

As I explained in the preview thread, Storm could use the solar winds to get them there, or Magneto could put his forcefield around them and she could recycle the air. I hate when writers stifle the characters without thinking it through.

Storm has converted liquid water into breathable air before in X-Treme X-Men 2, so if she can take Hz0 into O, why not C0z into 0? Her powers give her control over electrons, which allows her to manipulate molecular bonds.

Huh. I didn't know it worked on that level. Unless they were just having her do electrolysis. (I wonder where the H2 went) If it was actually molecular-level manipulation, she ignores all but a fraction of her power for some reason. She should be a low-powered Molecule Man.
