Looks good, very moody and atmospheric. It's nice to see that a lot of the Dark books carry over that Vertigo/Horror comic tone.

Glad to see the Parliament will be back, too. They're an important part of the mythology and I'd have hated for the series to lose that.

I really wish that this and Animal Man came out on different weeks and were both twice-monthly, that way we'd get a book from this corner of the DC Dark imprint every week! But as it stands we get Red/Green overload the first week of the month and nothing the rest of the time (though the Animal Man Annual last week was a nice treat).

Definitely going to have to go pick this up. I dropped it after #8 but this new arc is looking really good.

yeah, it looks like after taking the first arc to establish the series for new readers, Snyder is now taking the series back to its roots (forgive the pun) and opening up the larger history.

    How come you dropped it?

I said I'd drop this after last issue...but this preview is very tempting. My problem with Swampy is I can't not compare it to Alan Moore's run, in who's shadow almost all writers look weak. Might borrow it off a friend.

Oh my god. I'm in love. Those visuals are amazing!

My only complaint is that Abby is no longer pale lavender with corpse flowers. I thought that was a good look for her.

I can see where you're coming from, but for me this is almost on a par with Moore's run, enough so that it doesn't mar my reading pleasure

Issue was too decompressed but the art was BEAUTIFUL. Writing was really strong. One of the better issues of this series IMO.

A good read, but definitely way too decompressed. I really hope things will move faster from now on.

    Francavilla's art is beautiful!

Poor Alec. The guy just can't catch a break. He's got his ass kicked every since he became Swampy

Abby's hair is has gotten longer and she looked fine in dead mans clothes. Or at least I think it was a man she stole them from. The art on this was great but what happened to Alec's crown/antlers?
