It would have made more sense if he had this internal monologue with himself after he killed his children and after his battle with the Kid Hellfire Club. Somehow that didn't involve him questioning why he's had to deal with children like he does with homicidal maniacs like Sabretooth? What a slow learner.

I agree that the honeymoon is over. Something drastic needs to change with this series or burn it.

Got it. So, is there any real reason why he didn't bother to discuss this with anyone. Hey, Kitty, Bobby, Hank...so I killed my adult kids. They were going to kill my usual lay so I killed them and they were satan worshippers so I thought I'd let you know. Now that I got that outta' the way, I can be a shining example to the next generation of mutants who don't wank out and stay on an island with the jerkwad who married the red head chick whose dead now that I named my school after because it makes me feel like a man lusting after her even though she never married me nor ever sexed me up despite my version grade school crushing on her. To me, it would impact everyone's cloudy perception of what the hell was Wolverine thinking opening up a f*cking school when the only thing he's ever been good at was killing people and having inappropriate friendships with little girls. Oh, I mean "adults". It's as bad as a guy having his ex-girlfriend's name tattooed across their chest in her honor, even though the girl dumped his ass for a better man.

He also clearly says in this issue that he's done some awful things and even killed kids in the past, but that he's not the guy who kills kids anymore...instead he saves them. Which is what he thinks he's doing by tipping the Avengers off, as he obviously believes that the Phoenix force will destroy Hope. Like I said, not sure I agree, as I'm more inclined to support Cable and Cyclops' position that the Phoenix is coming here for Hope for a reason, but the issue does clearly give us insight into Wolverine's position whether you agree with it or not. That's all I was saying. Try to tone down your irrational Wolverine hate just a notch, trajikflp, and even you might be able to see that...
...or don't. At this point it has become mildly amusing. Kind of like Jota's rants about Marvel raping Wolverine's character.
