I may have to check this out just because of Nicieza's energy in this interview.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
Well hopefully this is the Impulse Bart (even if that's not his codename) the way he has been in Teen Titans.'
Edit: Okay after reading the interview, it does indeed look like this is the kind of Bart we will get.

I agree with you! How can you resist his enthusiasm for the story?
They should let Fabian take over Teen Titans.

I want moar Nieceza. Re-reading Cable and Deadpool right now. And if Bart ends like Waid, that could make Red Robin and Superboy splitting the role of Cable : RR the morality and tech, SB the vast power (for a while, at least) and chaotic tendencies. Anyone who burns Christmas trees is chaotic. Nieceza. Titans. Now.
I hated Nicienza's Red Robin, so I'm fine with him not writing Teen Titans.
I don't know if he wouldn't try to be dark though. Red Robin pretty much destroyed my enthusiasm for a character I grew up a huge fan of. It's good to see he's going for a more fun, quirky take for Bart though. If he does TT, I would hope it's like that.
He IS a good writer, but his take on Tim was just horrible. It's sort of the opposite of Lobdell, where I really like his take on the characters, but the plotting has been mediocre.

I agree 100% that the hack Nicienza destroyed RED ROBIN.
If only the book had been given to a writer who really understood and cared for the character, maybe someone like Nicieza, then maybe we could have all been riding rainbows on winged ponies.
As for the earlier appreciation of the efforts put forth by another writer, Nieceza, that praise has been properly accorded where it belongs, with Nicieza.

Get back to writing a regular DC title, Nicieza. Enough with your slacking.
Current favorites: Claymore, Birds of Prey, Black God, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Excel Saga
