If DC has so many problems writing WW and bad reactions by fans, then why not just cancel her and write her out of the DCU?

Because the like money. And because the book sells quite well, actually. They don't seem to have any trouble writing her at all either.
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."
..........no, most people like the book
WW currently has the best chart position it has had in years... and is keeping it for the most part. The book is the most critically acclaimed it has been probably since Rucka. Forum members that complain about the book are a pretty small (but vocal) group of people. The book is at a peak right now.
"Of all people, you know who I am...who the world needs me to be. I'm Wonder Woman."
Yeah, cuz the idea of replacing her with black canary was too simple. ;)
(sarcasm)
I actually want MORE WW books. :P Why would u ever say that lol
I think I read somewhere that if they cease to publish a book for her, the rights to the character can be lost.
Life is what you make it.
Not really. While I don't expect the title to be cancelled outright, I do suspect that the point of Azzarello's storyline will be to empty out the costume for a new character who is not Diana of Themyscira. A new character, with similar powers, but none of the original Wonder Woman's backstory, which is apparently considered an embarrassment by Dan DiDio. The new "Wonder Woman" will not be an Amazon or from Paradise Island. There will be no thought allowed of invisible planes, kangas, or purple rays.
Or those things may just end up simply removed from the world, which is pretty much the same thing.

If they wanted to remove Paradise island and the Amazons from Wonder Woman's past, why wouldn't they have done that immediately via the reboot? If they wanted to remove them from the character's future, then why not kill them instead of disposing of them in more obviously reversible ways? And why create a whole group of male Amazons who are alive and well? And why bring in revelations from teh Amazons' best that cause many readers to want and expect some ind of confrontation (and perhaps reconciliation) between Diana and her family?
Oh, come on now. I know you didn't like issue #7, but have you read no. 8 and 9 yet? They are two of the best WW issues I've read since Gail's Circle story arc. This book is firing on all creative cylinders right now. How can you be so negative when this book is so well written?
Seems this topic is at least a year too late. At least I'd have expected something like this to show up when her title was actually doing poorly and going unnoticed, as opposed to now when its one of if not the most acclaimed title of the new 52.
Not anymore. Up until the mid-1980s or so, though, DC's contract with William Moulton Marston had a stipulation that if DC didn't publish a new WW book every couple of months, the rights would revert back to him. The only time it was ever an issue, though, was during the first Crisis. DC had to publish a WW miniseries in order to keep the character.

Free your soul and let it fly....
This is your way of saying you hate Wonder Woman isn't it?
Anyway heres the reasons why it will never happen.
1. The relaunch book is getting a pretty good buzz
2. DC doesn't give a crap what a small number of posters from comic forums think about the comic. Which can sometimes be a good thing.
3. Regardless of what people say Wonder Woman is still considered the most iconic female superhero in DC Comics.
Worst case scenario would be that DC will just reboot Wonder Woman again.
