Sand Dream mainly because I tend to just recluse myself or isolate myself.
The lyrics speak to me in every way. I love the flow of the beat too, it just captivates me. It has for years now, I discovered it in the horror movie classic "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Ball and Biscuit ~ The White Stripes
Lateralus by Tool. This song pretty much changed my life and showed me a way after going through nihilism and borderline depression.
"I Want To Hold Your Hand" - the Beatles. Nothing profound in the lyrics, but the construction of the song...the way it's played...to my ears, it's closest thing in the real world to the Platonic ideal of a pop/rock 'n roll song.
Buried Alien (The Fastest Post Alive!)
The responses are as predictable as they are sad.
the song connects to me the most is "Everytime" by A1. I know this song since 3-4 years ago. I listened to it again and again without being disgusted
Melissa Manchester's "You Should Hear How She Talks About You". Everytime I hear that song, it transports me back to 1982-83 when I was roaming the aisles of my favorite toy store as a little kid and thinking about all the cool stuff I was going to buy with my six-dollar monthly allowances. That particular song was one I frequently heard playing over the store's musak system, but it constantly reminds me of good times.
Always remember this stuff isn't real.
Depends on the circumstances, definitely.
I skew metal mostly, so pretty much anything from that genre (RIP = rockers instead of poser!!).
However, caught myself revisiting Van Halen's first album just a bit ago.
Before a game, something like "Blackened" or "Set The World Afire".
Makes me all mushy inside.
This is it..fits so well with my marriage and how my wife and i feel about each.
this song absolutely wrecks me everytime i listen to it... ever since i began transition.

iSeveral, but I'll keep it brief, only mentioning three:
New Order, 'Blue Monday' -All-time favorite song. I love everything about it, I listen to it daily...I dunno, I just connected with it the moment I first heard it.
Blue Oyster Cult, 'Don't Fear The Reaper' -A beautiful piece of music, great riff,, great harmonies.
Black Sabbath, 'Iron Man'- Hearing this as a kid had a major effect on me. The story is so depressing, so painful, and yet there is hope at the end as the unnamed soldier regains his mobility...'Iron man lives again'. It literally moved me emotionally when I first heard it.
depends on the situation .. for college days its happy days song and o my friend
Wish You Where Here
last year my long time friend, we knew each other since high school, decided he didn't want to be friends with me anymore. he sent me an email saying that, i got angry and we fought with each other, and i haven't seen him since.
we were both big Pink Floyd fans. this song reminds me of him and how he's gone.
