With perhaps the exception of Brown being bellow Spangler I'd agree, though that's a toss up.

Well, Eddie wasn't match of a scientist, just a surgeon who was born with the ability to speak to animals. The original actually discovered and learned animal langauges (each animal had diferent language, as well as being a vet and therefore was much more of a scientist.

The Nutty Professor seemed to be able to defy most of the physical tenets of genetics (wholesale removing parts of your dna? haha, 90's screenwriters), so take that as you will. Doc Brown managed create a device that overcomes or rewrites the laws of causality, so you can take that into account.

I'd say that he's right up there with Doc Brown, possibly even a bit higher. Doc Frankenstein was impressive, but essentially only a one-trick pony to my recollection, and he kinda dropped the ball completely after that.

it was his discovery and data. He just paid the Scientists to take over from there. For example Stark doesnt stay in the factory, Building weapons all day. He pays people to take over and learn his tech and take it from there when building. Even though they are his creations.
