I picked up the first couple. It was pretty good but I'm not sure it's quite good enough. It's 7 issues right? I might think about keeping it going/trade waiting.
Currently enjoying: Batman, Batwoman, Dial H, Detective Comics, American Vampire, Saga, The Manhattan Projects, Locke and Key, Atomic Robo, East of West...
I bought the first one for my pad. Liked it, but decided to trade wait.
Yeah, I love this series. It has a certain literary quality that makes it something quite unique. And I normally find the whole vampires/zombie thing to be tiresome.
Surprisingly good. I've read the first three issues, and am kind of disappointed it's only a mini.
The premise seems silly, the actual book handles it extremely entertainingly well, and its only weakness is it only has one strong character, the main one. All of the other characters are weak and not fleshed out (no pun intended) at all.
The story begins quickly, but then slows down in issues 2 and 3 with very little occuring. The main things to fix in this series (or mini in this case) is to give some good characterization to other characters and speed things up each issues. Just my opinion.

I'm really enjoying this book. Love the time period, the new twist on an idea that's getting a lot of play right now. I think it's being handled very well, and I have no doubt that we've got some creepy surprises in store.
"Okay, I know I said I wasn't going to shake things up, but we're going to have to get some pants on this one."
This is really great so far.
The storyline and art go very well together and the whole concept is really interesting.
It would be a nice comic for an ongoing series.
Loving it myself. Lots of nice little nods and ideas about how the Bright and the Young relate to one another. Interested to see how Abnett is going to resolve the mystery.
#4 was excellent, I thought. Really fleshed out the main character's backstory. Might make a good trade purchase. The story as a whole is stronger than the individual issues.

I kind of lost interest after #3. I was really looking forward to this series and I love the concept, but it just didnt' do it for me. I found myself reading it just to get it out of my "unread" pile and dropped it. I've never really been the kind for a murder mystery even in a very unique and interesting setting, though.
