    True but just because he disguises himself doesn't mean the buisness man isn't his true self. He has been attacking and manipulating Superman though corporate schemes, dirty deals and hired hands. He's still clearly a cosmic, all powerful threat while still tying to the down to earth corporate villains of the golden age.

    Now that you mention it, it's true that all his interventions are akin to what a businessman would do: he makes a deal with Glenmorgan, buys the services of the anti Superman Army, hires Nimrod, and buys the idea of Superman.

    I have a theory about the little man that just occurred to me.

    Buying the Superman concept came before his other appearances and his acts in Action are him manipulating his brand. Maybe Superdoom has become outdated and he's chosen this fresh version to be manipulated into a new dark anti hero. He'll then sell his brand across the multiverse as a rebooted Superdoom.
