Question Interested to start reading The Ultimates line but need some info!

Hello everyone. I am interested to start reading the Ultimates but I recently heard that there are new Ultimate comics(or will be soon?) and I was wondering if these are following the old Ultimates or is it a new Relaunch?

If anyone knows, I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

The Ultimates series have always been multiple miniseries. The current Ultimates series is their first ongoing Ultimates series.

You could jump on the the new Ultimate series, which is very good, but I would recommend with starting from the beginning with Ultimates v1 and 2 by Makr Millar.
The first two volumes of the Ultimate series are a must read and it will help you appreciate the current ongoing Ultimates series by Hickman much more.

P.S. Don't read Ultimates v3 and Ultimatum by Jeph Loeb if you want to stay sane.

I would actually say read these first and then go back to see how they got there. Get what the majority believes to be bad out of the way first.

Anyone who doesn't like Miles Morales is a racist.

I suggest you start with The Ultimates by Mark Millar, then read The Ultimate Galactus Trilogy by Warren Ellis and then read The Ultimates 2 by Mark Millar.

If you like Spiderman I suggest you read all 160 issues (that's a total of 26 trade paperback volumes). It's extensive and expensive but well worth it.

There are also a large number of excellent mini series to read if you ever feel like expanding your collection of the Ultimate line. Ultimate Human, Ultimate Wolverine VS Hulk, Ultimate Thor and Ultimate Captain America are particuarly excellent and are some of the best books the Ultimate line has to offer.

Your mileage may vary, but I recently got into the Ultimates by way of the latest series by Jonathan Hickman, and now I'm working my way through the Ultimate Fantastic Four series and Ultimate Power.

As a new new newbie, my personal recommendation is the latest stuff by Hickman (Hawkeye and Ultimates). They're both really good, lay the groundwork for whatever is coming next, and did I say they were both really good? You might also want to check out Ultimate Fallout for a bit more current events.

Default Given all the references to it

Love it or hate it, considering all of the references to events in Ultimatum and its aftermath(s), I do not see how one can follow the current Ultimates storyline without reading, carefully, Ultimatum.

Why no ultimate x-men love? the first 55 issues of ultimate x-men are a MAJOR example of the ultimate line in it's prime. No one mentioned Ultimate Six, or Ultimate War and while not one of my favorites, I think Ultimate Origins is a good place to start also.
