Ok, yeah I know this has been asked more times than anyone can count, but I wanna see if I can put a new spin on it:
For starters I'm not a comic book reader who gets hung up over power much less power levels (I hate that term really) but powers will always come into play and I love that. I enjoy actual Super Heroes being super, but it should only be used as a tool never a focus for the comic. This will be dealing with your "how strong" thoughts on the new 52 Superman
Ok now that the intro is out of the way, we know 2 things.
1. In the new 52u we know that Superman is seen as the most powerful being on the planet (check the DC site if you don't believe me) We have had alien and god alike come to earth and see Superman as someone they would rather have on their side then fight.
2. We know his powers are still growing (as evidence in Superman #1) and have been growing since his time on earth.
But given these factors......how strong is the strongest being on the planet? What is the upper limit? Or should there be an upper limit?
My personal opinion? I am a big believer in "he's as Strong as he needs to be". I'm not ashamed to say that I like the look of struggle for a big task. I have often seen Superman's power as being connected to his will. So say if he puts the right amount of will into it he can do anything really.
So my question to you all is how strong do you think he should be and why? Remember to keep in the guide lines of the new 52 so you know where to start.
I hope everybody enjoys the thread
