I mean, look at Claremont's X-Men--people wouldn't deny that it was fun superheroics, and yet it handled some heavy crap at the same time. I mean, God Loves, Man Kills...his most iconic story, the Dark Phoenix Saga, involves the death of an entire PLANET! With that in mind, I'm going to add some more to the "fun" list:

    Batman
    Detective Comics
    Batman: The Dark Knight
    Batgirl
    Batwing
    Catwoman
    Red Hood & The Outlaws
    All-Star Western
    Voodoo
    GI Combat
Sry, but I think we have completely opposite ideas of what the word fun means.
Like Batman is not 'ha-ha' fun on any level for me, great tale of suspense depending on writer, a better word for me to describe a book like this is entertaining.

And for Wonder39: If you've bought it from Comixology, you also have the option of printing your books, but I am not sure how the result will be.

My point wasnt about the Circle itself anyway, it was that manga boobies and skirts aside, this isnt that much different from what came before. And people werent much interested in WW even when Benes drew her, so just by giving it some manga sexiness doesnt do much.
That invasion was quickly put to rest because the army of Nazis didn't have their hearts in it. The issues between mother and daughter were due to Diana not being able to reach Hippolyta and protect her. She knew she was alone on the island and there was an assault taking place there.

This didn't have golden thought balloons for exposition nor fussy and flowery dialogue. It was straight up action and great art and it was much lighter in tone than the Circle. The mother/daughter conflict was down to earth and very relatable. I also think you're vastly underestimating the power of a little sex appeal.

I reread it and really liked it (this WW is really lively), although I think they could have toned down the blood a little, to make it more kids-friendly.

99 cents for full 20 page issues, this is an epic bargain. I'm all on board with this. Also can't wait for them to get to Power Girl too. Great team, fun, yes.
    DROKK IT!!
