The final count down ... 2, 1, zero BOOM!
At $250 each ... it seems like it will be difficult to sell this item down the road for much profit.
Now if you are buying it for personal art enjoyment, then resale value shouldn't really matter.
How much does original art sell for?
Because this is just a print and it seems to be selling for a similar price.
Pulling: Whispers, 2000AD, Red Sonja: Unchained, Amala's Blade, Princeless
Well that is an asking price, it doesn't mean that they are necessarily going to get that price.
What is more valuable to you personally.
A) An original cover art of a Hellboy comic by Mignola
B) An original one of a kind Hellboy Mignola art piece
Meaning is a published work more valuable to you or an unpublished one of a kind more valuable to you.
The Corben pieces are listed at ~£1100. Can't remember which comic they're from, but there's a few of 'em. And I'm not sure the prices are that negotiable.
And they're not the most expensive ones. Loads of pieces on that site for loads. But even a Stuart Immonen cover is $800 from the site he sells on, and that's for a Marvel piece.
So $250's a steal for a limited print ;)
Pulling: Whispers, 2000AD, Red Sonja: Unchained, Amala's Blade, Princeless
Honestly, I did find the $250 price point to be pricey, but given that this print has a lower print run than the other $50 and $100 prints, I felt okay with the increase. I've been more actively collecting Mignola Hellboy prints over the last year or so, and I just collect them to enjoy the art, not for resale value.
I just want mine to get here so I can get it framed! I have 4 other prints I'm going to get framed at the same time![]()
