Bane should be bigger, and Latino.

The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!
Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!

Here's the thing I find thats funny about complaining about Bane's size. For years comic fans made a big fit about how he was treated in Batman and Robin and how Bane's a smart sophisticated character and him being really strong is only one aspect. Here they hire a very good actor who has the nuance to portray that and got jacked for the role. In all reality Bane is unrealitically big. Only body builders and pro wrestlers actually achieve that sizes that come even a fraction close. None of them are going to be able to pull Bane off that way. I'd rather the good actor and camera trickery to make him look intimidating than some muscle head who can't act worth a damn and will do the character injustice.
As for the Latino thing. Not really a huge deal. The Santa Prisca thing is interesting it isn't essential. His voice is already muzzled so you won't here the accent you would associate with it. You won't see much in the way of facial features. So really we are down to the skin tone of his arms and select parts of his face. At that point I could care less. Plus if you want to get real technical with it Bane's half white (King Snake's his father).
And who said he wasn't Latino? Did Nolan? Just because the actor isn't Latino doesn't mean the character isn't. Daniel Day Lewis played a Native American and a white guy played Goku so...
I pray fans don't ruin this movie experience. I swear people focus on the wrong thing. Reminds me of when The Dark Knight was being released.
“I've always wanted to diversify the DCU, but usually when I do it, James Robinson comes along and kills them all.“ -Grant Morrison
Remember the hissy fit people threw when the teeny bopper from 10 things I hate about you and the gay cowboy was going to play the Joker?
Hardy comes across as extremely menacing and dangerous -- and I say this as someone who's only seen the prologue and the trailers. I'm kinda amazed that he's able to accomplish that using mainly his eyes and posture.
"Everybody, sooner or later, sits down to a banquet of consequences." - Robert Louis Stevenson
Daniel Day Lewis played a white guy who'd been adopted by native Americans. His name was Nathaniel.
