Noticing a trend here, the background colors are all primary and white (yellow 60's, red 70's, white 80's, blue 90's) so will the 2000's be black? Is that a message?

Yup. Most probably black. Does that point to an OMD theme for the 2000s?
It could also be green though, signifying "Big Time" and the fact that Spidey is such an elevated team player now.

Anyone know the rarity? I guess it'd be fitting if they're 1:50 but I don't know how that would work since there's 4 variants for 1 issue?
Either way they look great - I'm a big Martin fan, especially on Spidey! The origin in yellow, Gwen in Red, Venom in White, and not sure what the significance of the 4th in blue but I'm guessing 'Spider-Island?'
