Maybe they just aren´t lesbians? If somebody is straight but is prevented from having sex with the opposite sex, they can´t just decide to change their sexual orientation...it´s not that easy.

Not everybody turns gay in prision, and the ones who really turns to homosexual sex probably have been always attracted to other men, they just needed an excuse to practice it without damaging too much their "macho" self-image.

It's not about sexual orientation in prison, in fact it never is. Male on Male sexual intercourse in prisons is about being able to have a hole to fuck. It also is about domination and status, and in some cases a form of hierarchical protection. Gangs are HUGE in prisons. The only way to survive in Federal Prisons is to align yourself with a gang, which means either showing you are the fucker, or the fuckee. It's not about turning homosexual, it's just getting to blow your load in closest thing that resembles a vagina in an all male prison. Sorry for being so blunt.

It just came to me New Mutants is featuring a polygamous, interracial wedding that being officiated by a pagan deity with Amara's boyfriend in attendance in a Christian church. Why isn't the Million Mom's protesting this book?

IMO, because they think Gay Marriage is worse then all the above. But mostly because Astonishing gets more Press.
