I haven't read it yet, but if you have any interest in classic pulps or the Spider character, it seems like too good of a deal to pass up.

It's a lot of fun. Norvell Page started out of the gate pretty strong when he took over the pulps with issue #3, and he had hit his stride by this point. Imagine Robert E Howard mixed with Michael Bay. I'm actually rather amazed that no one in Hollywood has picked up on this series yet. Tho they're probably put off by the pedestrian costume he's got on the covers, compared to the wild-haired & fanged hunchback that he is described in the actual story. It's was deemed too UNheroic an appearance to be on the covers. (The names of the books alone would make great names for a death metal band. Satan's Murder Machines is an especially good name for a band.)

Radio Archive have also been doing full production audiobooks of select pulps. This is one of the two Spider books they've done and have been recording a third. Samples are on their website.

Thought this was cool. The Spider by Bruce Timm

    Thanks for the heads-up!

I've been reading the Moonstone Spider series and more Spider is not a bad thing, especially for .01.

An update - if you picked up this ebook when it was $0.01, it has been updated to include additional material from the original pulp magazine (back-up stories and letters pages). You should be able to log into your account and download the update.

If you did not pick this up for $0.01, it is now available for FREE, so there's no reason not to check it out now.
