After years of working with the Defenders, it is a question or two as of why hasn't either side tried to mend bridges with each other ?

I think he works well considering he's the only one that's out of control. Everyone else is so straight laced. I've really been digging Avengers Assemble so I hope that might carry over.

It most likely will considering how popular Avengers the movie is.

I like him as a guest role. Not full time. He's too resentful and otherwise like Wolverine better off working solo. We have too many super strength and melee fighters as it is.

Yeah he's way too powerful to be on a team or in every issue.

Umm... Rulk is an Avenger already.

Hulk is powerful, but in a lot of ways one dimensional. So he's not quite a character that can do everything, like say a Superman to a degree. So I think Hulk is actually workable enough in a team setting. He's a BIG BIG gun... but not to the degree that he's nearly impossible to use without watering him down. Thor in a lot of ways is probably harder to write.

While I appreciate Rulk and what he brings, it would be awesome for Banner to rejoin the Avengers for real. You have to imagine with the success of the Movie storyline and what has been going on in Assemble, it can't be long now.

If they bring Banner back, Rulk will have to go, and I still want some more Rulk.

Agreed. What's so different from having Thor, Hercules, Gilgamesh or Wonder Man on the team? Plus, as years in the Defenders have proven, he can work with others. Well written, it's an opportunity to have a different kind of character in the team setting.

    Peace
