That's right, simperin' Spidophiles... I've gone and created an outrageous appreciation thread for everyone's favorite fink, the fiendish Fred Foswell! If you don't remember ol' Freddy, it's time to brush up on one of the baddest daddies to ever grace the blustering Bugle's halls! Once thought to be a simple reporter for Jolly Jonah Jameson's towering monument to truth and justice (i.e. newspaper, true believers!), Foswell conspired to find out just how that hip cat Peter Parker got all those jazzy photos of Spider-Man by tailing them in his underworld guise of "Patch," you dig? It wasn't just a guise, though, natch...Foswell had dealings with wicked Wilson Fisk himself! That is, until he apparently bit the dust in Amazing Spider-Man #52 (Now conveniently available in volume 2 of the Mighty Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus)! Owwwwwww, have mercy!
Me, I think it'd be the bee's knees if this slick cat graces the Spider Books once again. I say they have him turn out to be the cantankerous Crimemaster in Venom, or bring him back to challenge J.J.J. for the mayoral seat--as a puppet of the Kingpin! Why, it might just be the grooviest plot twist all year!
