As Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" nears its debut, Warner Bros. has released six new character posters showcasing Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.

Nice shots but I always wonder why Hollywood studios marketing for their films in the past decade are so bland? I see this and I really AM not given a reason as to why go to a theater to watch the film if I had no intention of doing so originally. Shame

they have released some more interesting posters, already. these are just character shots.
if TDK is any indication, better, more interesting posters are probably on their way.

this just seems like padding on the continual marketing this film will have until it's release.

really, though, who cares. Avengers had the worst posters ever and it's done HUGE numbers.
