Ehhhh...let's just say he's very....opinionated...on certain things (comics and or otherwise), and can come across as a Grade-A jackass.
I've heard audio interviews with him, and he was extremely nice and there was no malice or snark in any of his answers, so maybe it's internet postings taken out of context.
Oh.. that was funny.
Who's that on the top left? Kitty Pryde? Scott?
Kindred are the hearts of gods and men.
I'd like to see him back on a arc of and x-book with inks by Terry Austen.
I don't get the joke...is it supposed to John Bryne writing or drawing that Popeye comic where he is beating up the "X-Men" without breaking copyright laws by not showing the complete bodies of the X-Men? This was solicited months ago. It's good for a single chuckle, but after that the novelty wears off. Start looking at other comic book companies cover solicits in the Previews catalog or the Diamond Comics Previews website. There are so many Marvel and DC homage cover by smaller imprints it's ridiculous.

John Byrne is an important part of the X-Men mythos. It's a joke topic.
What a tease. It would be great if Byrne went back to the X-Men. Claremont made lots of great stories after Byrne left but not as great as when Byrne was working with him. It's pretty clear that Byrne was the ANAD X-Men's soul. Plus the man knows how to spin gold; a talent that the x-verse desperately needs. I doubt he will return to Marvel though. He was supposed to work with Claremont on X-Men: The End but backed out when Marvel cancelled X-Men: Hidden Years (ironically, it was cancelled because JoeyQ thought there were too many redudant x-titles. Wish this policy was still in effect).
