Civil War, the event that just keeps being brought back up again...
His first day as an Avenger? It's like they don't even care.
And...and Danny Rand was Daredevil at the time...I...
AND HAWKEYE. WHAT IS THIS.

This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
Civil War was a letdown, to me. I'm more interesting on the other Events that will be turn to prose.
Also seems like they realized that a guy named Spider-Man had three mechanical tentacles coming out of his new suit instead of four. You know, which adds to seven legs, instead of eight. Because that's how many legs a spider actually has.
Live Comics. Love Comics.

It's curious that they seem to be changing the story to be more palatable to new readers, which makes sense.
I'm sure I'll check this out... if only out of curiosity. (It better be available for Kindle!)
In Before someone says this is the end of Illustrated Comics as a medium. But seriously Maybe New fans would be interested in this and that's cool but i started reading comics at the Age of Seven because i saw a comic in my local martins store ...and got hooked , im sure if comics were more accessable to young children and kids then there would be more fans . But I digress on the point of the Civil War novel it seems like a nice idea and im fully suportive of any idea that gets more people but kids and young people especially interested in this medium, as i believe it helped both my imagination and creativity far more then watching endless repeats of Bodger and Badger would have . x

The reason the Iron Spider suit has 3 legs is because Tony wanted it to represent that African Spider-God.
Alright, taking bets, are the Thunderbolts going to be retcon as being invented during Civil War and that they were always criminals operating out of prison? I bet Songbird won't get mentioned at all!
Interesting. I kept mentally comparing this to the scene in the comic book, which reads so much faster, being drawn out for us.
I only gave it a quick scan, but I'll be picking up the book. There's things I wanted to see expanded and explained, which will hopefully paint a much better picture of everyone than the comic did.
I'm fairly sure Quesada said in a Newsarama interview that he just liked the look better with three legs. It gave the look a more interesting, slightly unsettling silhouette.
The only time it was addressed in the comics, as far as I know, was Thing making fun of it and Peter blaming Tony.

I do not like Peter being referred to as Spidey. I'd rather they call him Peter. That's who he is. My thought is that they're trying to make the reveal shocking but who doesn't know that Peter Parker is Spider-man by now?
It's Peter's first mission presumably because he'll be the POV character for this.
Also, reading it there just makes me realize what a crappy lot the New Warriors got, considering that they had been doing the superhero gig for years. I mean, three of the Warriors had been Avengers by that time. I can't believe Marvel have yet to actually rehabilitate the team.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
