I was just wondering what was Giorgio Moroder's involvement in the project?
He co-wrote track 3 "Giorgio by Moroder" with the Daft Punk Robots. On the song he does this 2 minute intro about creating music with sounds of the '50's, '60's, '70's and of the future for which he chose to use the synthesizer and a click. Totally awesome and epic 9 minute track and second best only after "Get Lucky" imo. He doesn't seem to be playing the modular synthesizer himself though, not on this track or any of the many other tracks the instrument is used. So "Giorgio by Morodor" is the only track he seems to be involved in. Check it out on spotify I'd say.

Get "Closing Time" you won't regret it.

I recently got a Blind Lemon Jefferson compilation,
"File Under Sacred Music" which is a compilation of Cramps singles,
    the first Grinderman record,
Early Pre-War Revenants, Vol II- a compilation of pre-WWII blues and gospel tracks. Mostly lesser known artists that produced a few sides, but didn't get all that popular.

First track is a fave of mine.

I've really been listening to his more recent stuff lately (by recent I mean, late 90s, early 2000s). But just about any Tom Waits is good Tom Waits. :)

I JUST ordered this yesterday after it not being in my collection for 20 years. I had given it to a friend when I was 15, and I never replaced it.
