I still really enjoy the first three Deicide albums (particularly the first and Once Upon the Cross.) Had the pleasure of seeing them just before they were signed in 1989 - they were insane and so much fun. Their debut really reflects this.

Really?!?! Man, that's so cool. I agree, their first three albums were their best. Although Serpents in the Light was okay, but their self-titled debut album is one fucking beast of an album!!

    Autopsy -"Mental Funeral"
    Misfits -"Legacy of Brutality"
    Misfits -"Misfits"(aka Collection I)
    Misfits -"Collection II"
The Cramps -"Psychedelic Jungle/Gravest Hits EP"

I already had Misfits stuff, but most of it were burned copies with various songs.

Didn't buy a physical album in a loooong time, but got Lianne La Havas' album Is Your Love Big Enough last week. Excellent stuff!

Titus Andronicus-- Local Business. Not quite as good as The Monitor, but still a very, very, very good album. Some of the rough edges-- Patrick Sickles' voice, in particular-- are polished up, but it's still a really rough, off-the-cuff sound filled with anthems of disillusionment. I suspect that this will probably end up being my favorite album of the year after a few more days of listening to it.

Alright, so my local record shop was having a 30% off sale on used CD's. I got quite a bit with exception of two albums which were new.

Danzig -"Danzig II Lucifuge" (Already have this album.. digitally though)
    Deicide -"Legion"
    Deicide -"Once Upon the Cross"
Cannibal Corpse -"Evisceration Plague" (I now have all of CC's catalogue, but most of it is digital.)
Link Wray -"Rumble! The Very Best of Link Wray" (Power chord awesomeness!!)
    Slayer -"Hell Awaits"
    Entombed -"Clandestine" (Damn good album)
Iron Maiden -"Killers" (Have most of the songs already on scattered burnt cd's.)

Fiona Apple - The Idler Wheel is..
    Muse - The 2nd Law
    Cat Power - Sun
    Pumpkins - Oceana
Norah Jones - Little Broken Hearts
    Metric - Synethetic

Norah Jones and Fiona Apple are my favorites.
    A bit underwhelmed by Muse.
