Default In terms of his Superman work (Action, All Star, etc), What is Morrisonian to you?

What is Morrisonian to you, in terms of his work in Superman?

Just like people say that Orwellian is of or something to do with being a futuristic totalitarian state which in wikipedia had something like a societal condition of being destructive to a free society. And just like Machiavellan is the employment of deceit and cunning in general conduct. Both derived the interpretation from the works of Orwell and Machiavelli.

What in Grant Morrison's Superman works can you call Morrisonian and how so?
Excuse me. Have you ever danced with The Devil by the pale moonlight?

let's instantly find a better way to express this idea, because that term just isn't going to fly.

edit: morrison's superman loves us all.

Nothing too specific. Just really imaginative and bold is all I can think of to associate with "Morrisonian."

You know, you have a point. It should have been why is Morrison's approach to Superman's reboot in Action Comics so refreshing?

American comics with a distinctive European avant-garde edge.

High-concept ideas that don't reinvent the wheel, but make you smack your forehead and yell "I forgot!! THIS is why he's my favorite character!"

And, coincidently enough, his Batman made me yell the same thing.

Very overrated to the point of being silly.

    Yes, that's it.

Its little thing he throws out, like in ASSM where he just leaves the key to the Fortress laying on the ground because its so heavy no one else is capable of picking it up and using it... Its stuff like that that sold me on his 'vision'...

He's Silver-Age at heart yet throughly and sometimes confusingly modern.
    I live in America. It's not a country, it's a business.

    Allegorical.

The mundane and relatable made larger than life; every day struggles rendered in neon, LSD-laced paints on a 21-dimensional canvas.

JLA - my fave: big budget action with cosmic level technobabble and Supes as a Christ like force in the universe

All-Star - his love letter to all things Superman

Action - his reworking of the origin after the latest reboot
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...

Weird, scif-fi and sometimes silly yet epic and daring concepts.
