I've been checking out the new strip. It's extremely bland. I might see a small child liking this, or maybe a grandparent wanting something vanilla. Just because a comic is made for children doesn't mean it has to be dull. Kelly Puckett & Mike Parobeck did a fantastic job on Batman Adventures back in the 90s. Kurt Busiek made Untold Tales of Spider-man one of the best comics on the market in it's day. Even Tiny Titans was a blast. Certainly one has to look no further than Bone to see how good "all-ages" comics can be. Maybe I shouldn't expect Jeff Smith-quality from Archie, but I'd damn well expect a better effort than THIS.
    Recommended Comics:
    Star Wars: Dark Times,
Richard Stark's Parker by Darwyn Cooke,
Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye
