Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the major factor in a third Hellboy film actually del Toro?
As far as I'm aware, Perlman is up for it but only for a few more years as it's quite hard work (considering his age). del Toro is too busy taking on eight billion projects a day, though, and that really grates with me.
Also, what happened to the third Animated film? As far as I know, it was being made.
Pulling: Whispers, 2000AD, Red Sonja: Unchained, Amala's Blade, Princeless
The interviewer is pretty bad. Duncan mentioned a Hellboy OGN so the interviewer assumed there would be a movie? I don't understand his logic.
It seems interviewers are always more interested in movies or cartoons than the actual comic. Sheer madness.
Actually that has been dead for some time per this entry by the guy who was behind the first two. Lots of good stuff in that blog if you root through the history

I thought the films were fairly good but I'm not overly bothered if number 3 never happens, especially if it means Mike is away
from comics again for a bit! Btw if your reading this Mike why aren't you at your desk right now drawing me some more comics?! :)
