What are the best Alien and Predator comics to get i.e. best collections?

I suggest Tarzan vs Predator at the Earths Core tp. Great story by Lee Weeks and beautiful art by Walter Simonson.

Aliens vs Predator The Deadliest of the Species holds a very special place in my comic reading memory.
Chris Claremont did some of his best non X-Men work in it.

The first three Aliens limited series are amazing. Besides that, I would recommend Rogue, Genocide, Labyrinth, Stronghold, Sacrifice, Salvation, Mondo Heat, Xenogenesis, Mondo Pest, and Music of the Spears. Past the mind-nineties, the quality of the Aliens and Predator series went downhill. As for Predator, Concrete Jungle, Cold War, Dark River, and Big Game are my favorites. Good AvP stories are Prey, War, and Xenogenesis (they made a Xenogenesis story for Aliens, Predator, and AvP).

They have a number of omnibuses out for all the series, so these stories are pretty easy to find nowadays.

i think that's actually the other way around.

anyway, i kinda liked the latest (?) mini series that came out a while back. "Three World War". haven't read all of the old stuff yet... need to get on that one of these days.
