This is a fantastic idea and I'd like to get involved, as a plotter of course. However, I'm slightly confused as to how this works.

Am I to simply submit 'ideas', and then should the editors choose to, they create solicitations from those ideas? And the story, I presume, should be a continuation from the past title stories. Is that correct?

I'm just confused as to how to submit an idea for a character when the next few months of solicitations (the rest of the current 'arc') is a mystery. For example, the editor may have accepted a plot for the character to go to a, b and c over the next few months. How do I submit an idea when I think the character will always remain at a? My brain hurts :p

Hey dude and welcome aboard. Yes, if you want to get involved, pm plot ideas for titles to the respective line editors found on the first page of this thread. Your analysis is correct but you can also submit plot ideas for future stories as well. It doesn't have to be based off of current storylines but it does have to remain in continuity. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Pretty much. My advice would be to pick out some titles that interest you and contact (private message) the editors for those books, open up dialogue with the eds and develop story ideas. Each editor works a little different and may want to toss ideas around with you or maybe prefer you to send in full solicits. You can figure out which system works best for whichever title(s) you may end up plotting for. The first page should have a list of our editors and links to contact them.

Oh, and welcome aboard. I look forward to seeing what you come up. Don't mind Galactus at the bar, he tends to get a bit weepy after a long weekend.

question, do you have to stick to the villains of the title or can you use other ones from M.U. as you see fit? also could you make a plot with a total different team (from the available pool of characters) for one of the existing lines? sorry I ask this but I'm a noob and I'm really excited about this and would like to be part of it. Also what if there is a character that you would like to use but it is in neither in any existing title nor the available pool of characters, could you use it? I currently brainstorming on a few plot ideas for X-treme x-men, space avengers, and as of yet undisclosed new team (if possible)

Welcome, buddy.

For continuity reasons, each line has their own pool of characters to choose from. For instance, I could use Madman, a NextWave foe, and have him appear in Union Jack as they're both part of the Action line. But I couldn't use Galactus because he is part of Marvell's Cosmic line. As for characters that have yet to be introduced into AoM, a discussion with Global Honored would lead to a final decision.

A team from the free agents pool is a possibility. As long as it didn't affect continuity and it was given the thumbs up by GH, then it could be done.

Feel free to join in at any time. And be sure to join in on the solicitations thread and "buy" your favourite titles.

Welcome aboard. What highwayguy said. PM the editors of the titles you're interested in for any questions you may have. The list can be found on the first page of this thread. You can also pm Global Honored, our EIC with any questions about ideas that you have.
