Augie talks about "The Avengers" in terms of box office, camera choices, 3D effects and more. Plus, the mother of all original art pages is going up on the block! Save your pennies. And gold bars.

I'm of the opinion that by the time people start talking about something new to invest in the bubble is already half full. I guess original art is a finite resource, but I could see this ending badly if speculators get involved in the original comic book art market. These people would only value the works for their monetary value instead of their artistic worth.

Augie, here's another kind of ticket that adds to the bucket:

I didn't see AVENGERS in 3D, just the digital. But I did pay $20 for a ticket in a luxury theater. By that I mean: no kids allowed, there's a bar in the waiting area, I'm waited on and can call my waiter with a push of a button, I had food delivered (beer battered shrimp, fried avocados, chicken caesar salad wrap - REAL FOOD!!!), and sat in a fantastic comfy seat. It was worth every penny!

Check out the Lux Theater located at Legacy Place in Dedham, MA. Awesome!!!
