Columbia Pictures Debuts Four-Minute Preview For "The Amazing Spider-Man"

I recorded Americas Got Talent mostly for this preview, which I hope to watch tonight. Apparently Columbia is not overly pleased with the film, from what I have heard in rumors and hushed whispers on the net. I am not sure what to think. I like that they are using the Lizard. I hate the costume. I like that they went to mechanical web shooters, and that Peter is a smart aleck teenager. But I am concerned that they will not attempt... Green... gob... OMG...

I just had a wild thought. Since this is a reboot, perhaps Norman Osborn utilizes Connors tech that created the lizard to attempt to create something that makes him the Goblin in the next film (if there is a next film). So they could do the Goblin in a much more realistic way that better fits the original look of the character.

Of all the words I'd use to describe the original look of the Green Goblin, "realistic" ain't one of them. And we all know how reliable rumors and whispers on the Internet are.

I'll admit bias and I loved the first two movies (warts and all) but I'm just not feeling this one.
