Default Nightwing #8 sales: someone explain

Apparently this issue sold out at diamond after only a couple of days, but the sales were basically the same as the previous month. I expected a big spike with the sell out. Am I missing something?

Because the issue has yet to be reprinted and put back into shops, thus no more sales than normal. Its not like Diamond has a vast amount sitting around waiting for extras. The print a bit more than ordered most likely, and then when reorders exceed what they've got left in stock, that's when it "sells out" and DC makes the call on a second print, which usually shows up a month later.

So basically, we're never going to see the final first print + second print sales.

Too bad because it's numbers would have probably been close to 100k otherwise. I hope retailers ordered more copies of #9

100k is a big jump What it'd sell in the 50k range? Another 50k was not ordered. Guarantee that.

Ya, dude its probably somewhere around like 10,000 that got reordered, and even that would be a high estimate.
