I've read a couple issues of this book so far. Every single one of them has Batman guest-appearing to tell the readers how great Booster Gold is and why you should love him. It's some remarkably bad writing.

Definitely this. Since issue one this group has just been punched, kicked, spit on and hosed over. They haven't gotten a single moment to grow on the readers because they've been too busy getting kicked around and beat up.

And usually acting like incompetant morons.

"Green" and "untested" is one thing; these clowns were worse than what the Three Stooges pretended to be.

Bah. Now I'll have to buy that one GL book to get my Guy Gardner fix. And I so enjoyed his treatment of Booster.

Call it bad taste maybe, but I really liked JLI.

I really like J'onn's character so far. He's a bit cool and reserved but one of the most powerful aliens on earth. I would love to see him lead a team. I think if you become his friend, and it seems its a feat to earn it, then he'll always have your back. I don't think its because he doesn't like anyone but he sees a danger and no one seems ready or able to deal with it. Its just the facts to him.

About Godiva on this team, I think she has just ruined herself in the hero department with me. I don't mind some aloofness or pettiness but she needed to have balanced that out with skill and ability. She needs a complete retool to me or just benched which is a shame because its not that useful an power but its a little unique. I would really like to see her grow some after Rocket's death and start being an asset but I probably would say she won't be asked back.

Doubtful. Rotworld is supposed to run through #17 of both Swamp Thing and Animal Man. Plus, another new Batman Incorporated #1 will make people go all stabby.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

Agreed. I hope that now that he's leaving Stormwatch he can return to the personality that Tomasi gave him in Brightest Day.

Although it was far from perfect, I liked the current incarnation of the team too.

You should'nt feel bad for liking a book, some people don't even know what qualifies for bad writing.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.

I have a feeling we havent seen the end of Booster,Guy and even Beetle being part of the Justice League..Im thinking Steve Trevor is gonna put together a new JL team thats in the vein of JLI and maybe we will see a new ongoing JL book..thats what im hoping anyway..

No doubt trevor is building at least one new team but IMO, I dont see Trevor putting a teenager like Blue Beetle on one of his teams. Reyes has maybe a few weeks experience by now.

After JLI ends, they are going to start up a new JL title called Justice League DETROIT!

You know, because of Vibe in Trinity War.

    xD

After Jurgens completely messed up the characterizations of Ice, Fire and Vixen, it's probably a good thing to shut things down and try something else. Make Jurgens stick to art for a while. That's what he's best at.

Still, I'll miss the comic, since it had a lot of potential. I hope they replace it with something I'll like.
Current favorites: Claymore, Birds of Prey, Black God, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Excel Saga

Not surprised. Dan Didio and Geoff Johns hate the JLI era and have only been half-assed reviving it to appease the fans and make some easy money but it's not part of their vision for DC comics. Oh Well after Disney/Marvel whoops there ass a couple more times didio and johns will be shown the door and maybe whoever replaces them will show the JLI some respect.

IMO, you cannot blame the poor writing and lack of direction on them unless you can prove excessive meddling.
