this is beyond unnecessary...let's muck up Wolverine's past some more, as if Origins didn't do that enough, and completely ignore the fact that he was a bit of a loner before the X-Men so that we can put him on yet another team.

The true tragedy is that quite a few of the ideas thrown out in speculation by some of the posters yesterday were actually more interesting than wot we finally got. Le Sigh.

So it's about Xavier and Wolverine forming a mutant team before the original X-men which also includes Magneto and two character we shall call Dead Meat Woman and Dead Meat Man

Of course the two doomed characters are the black guy and the woman, while all the other (white male) characters obviously survive. SMDH Marvel.

Logically she is not prominent enough to make it mandatory for writers to include her in a story like this and completely free to ignore it or be unaware of her as they like.

Enough to buy the first issue. Not crazy about Adams' art these days, and the concept feels a little forced. But, like I said, I liked X-men First Class and this has a similar vibe, so I'll give it an issue to hook me.
