Default Asking for help from fellow Tim Drake/ Red Robin fans!

    Guys,

I am not reading EVERY title in the New 52 (that would be absurd) but I tried an issue of TEEN TITANS (#3) to get my Tim Drake fix only to find that it was effectively unreadable (Unlike RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS, are we *sure* Lobdell writes both?? ) so my question is what Nu52 titles can I find a good Tim Drake story in? is he in BATMAN or BATMAN AND ROBIN?

    Cheers.

    James.

He's currently found only in TT. He does appear in the Night of the Owls crossover in a Batman Dark Knight one-shot. And has a guest spot in the upcoming arc of Batman and Robin starting in June. Otherwise us Drake fans have to deal with TT to get a fix. Though to be honest Jason has lately been moving into the role of favorite Robin for me.

I think Jason has had the best characterization of all the Robin's post-relaunch. I agree that Teen Titans is nearly unreadable. I've also felt pretty lukewarm about Nightwing's series, and of course, there's Damian's out of character-ness.

Outside of Teen Titans I think he's only made brief appearances.. Batman#1,Red Hood #8, and the Culling crossover in Legion Lost and Superboy. Tim's been written as far too cold so far in the DCnU for me..even so far as readying a weapon while talking to the lovable Solstice..

I'm sorta hoping in this timeline Jack's death and Damian's introduction happened around the same time, so the asshole Tim we've seen so far is him trying to do the right thing and make a difference while dealing with losing both families and keeping everyone at a distance. I miss the Young Justice Tim..hell I even miss Mister Sarcastic.
Ame-Comi, Aquaman, Batman, Batwoman, Blue Beetle, I, Vampire, JL, JLD, JLI, Nightwing, Red Hood, Superboy, Supergirl, Teen Titans, Scarlet Spider, Ultimate Spider-Man, X-Factor, X-Men:Legacy.

If that were true then I would be a good deal happier with his cold, aloof and Batman-lite characterzation or at the very least it would help explain it at any rate. As it stands right now I can't stand him.

To the OP: If you are really interested in good Tim Drake stories I would suggest you look for them in the Pre-New 52 titles Robin and Red Robin and his origin story is found in A Lonely Place of Dying, which is collected in the Death in the Family trade. Currently other than Teen Titans and a few guest starring roles in titles other people have mentioned already there are no books to find him in.

I already have (the majority) of the Robin series and all of RED ROBIN (I am a fan of Fabian Nicieza's work and this is no exception) I was just missing new stories for Tim

    Cheers.

At this point I'm only reading Teen Titans because it contains Tim. I really haven't been able to care about the other characters as much. Maybe Bart since he's a speedster. Hopefully he has some roles coming up in Batman Inc

I too am only reading Teen Titans just to get my Tim Drake fix. I really wish DC would give him back his own book. I love Tim and I really wished he interacted more with the rest of the Bat Family.
